Experience

Tada Sastarasatit, a former judge-turned-private-practitioner, is an experienced commercial litigator and dispute resolution lawyer whose practice mainly focuses on various aspects of business law including construction disputes and labour & employment related matters, on top of his marked expertise in both international as well as domestic arbitration. With almost three decades in the field, he has counseled and represented numerous foreign and private corporations and organizations in various arbitration proceedings under the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI), the Board of Trade’s Commercial Arbitration Rules and ad-hoc arbitrations, in addition to having assisted in matters involving enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.

Part-Time Lecturer and Publications

Tada Sastarasatit is a visiting lecturer teaching employment and arbitration laws for many leading universities in Thailand. He is also a regular contributor for a number of law journals and guest speaker on various law topics organized by government and private institutions. Career and Education

Tada Sastarasatit became a senior partner of Siam City Law Offices Limited when he joined us in 2008 after approximately two decades of private practice with International Legal Counsellors Thailand Ltd. (Russin & Vecchi) (ILCT). At ILCT, he was an equity partner responsible for employment laws, dispute resolution and litigation. Prior to that and after being admitted to practice in Thailand and afterwards called to the Bar in England and Wales, he began his professional career as a judge sitting in various courts in Thailand under the Ministry of Justice.

Tada Sastarasatit currently leads our employment law practice as well as litigation and arbitration proceedings. He also sits on the group’s Newsletter Editorial Board of Montage and is both executive editor and a regular contributor.
